Rules of the fishing course

Only whipped fly fishing is allowed. Jig fishing is prohibited.


Flies must be mounted on a single hook without barbs or fully crushed barbs


The use of a fine mesh welded landing net is compulsory.

Fishing is practiced from the bank without entering the water.

Fishing is open all year round, except during period of extreme hot weather.

It is imperative to reserve your fishing entry.

The fishing hours are generally as follows, the time limit for the day being indicated at the Lodge:

Reception: site opens at 8:15 a.m.

Fishing day from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a compulsory hour-long lunch break:

In Summer (*)

½ day from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Evening shot from 6.30 pm to sunset.

In Winter (*)

1/2 day from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

(*) Summer period: from 15 th April to 14th September / Winter period: from 15 th September to 14th April


Please note: An entry is valid for a continuous fishing period. Thus, the discontinuous periods on the same day are subject to different entries (exple. ½ day in the morning and evening shot = 2 entries).

A single retained catch of less than 50 cm is authorized per half day of fishing (2 catches during a fishing day). However, you will have to respect the No-Kill for Allis chars and the Brook char.

A fee will be applied for any unauthorised and retained catch: 50 cm catch or additional catch (es).


The following methods are strictly prohibited throughout the circuit: the use of 3 flies train, Bobby, eggs, Blobs, propeller flies, swimming fish, soft lures and indicators.

Streamer is not allowed on the millstream and the sluice section. Only flies measuring less than 2 cm can be used.


Unretained catches must be immediately returned to the water with the greatest of respect: wet your hands thoroughly before handling the fish and return it to the water as quickly as possible using your net.


In hot weather, fishes should be handled with greatest care and exclusively in the water.


It is prohibited to return any damaged fish to the water, it must be killed and deposited at the Lodge.


Retained catches must be immediately killed cleanly using a stunner/ bludgeon and promptly placed in the Lodge’s refrigerator provided for this purpose.


At the end of the fishing day, the fisherman has the obligation to inform the manager of the catch kept for proper management of the circuit.


PrisesThe catches are personal, in no case may the fisherman give his / her catch (s) to an
other.


Access to the fishing circuit is reserved for fishermen who have paid their fishing rights.


Only one attendant is allowed as long as it does not disturb other fishermen. They will be asked to be vigilant along the entire circuit and to avoid walking along the banks.


Dirty shoes and boots are prohibited in the lodge.

Picnicking is not allowed on the course or on the terrace. A picnic area has been specially designed for this purpose.

Courteous and respect between fishermen is essential to rotate on the different locations of the circuit and to fish without interrupting each other.

Our friendly pets are not accepted on the site.


Anyone who does not respect the rules will be excluded from the course immediately
