The Village of Gémages

Small village, it covers 647 ha, a large part of which is in the forest. From the 9th century, Gémages is reported among the properties of the Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Près under the barbaric name of Gamarziascas.

The church of Romanesque origin, to which a curious bell tower-porch was added in the 15th century, has preserved a small 17th century high altar inside.
